Author: Sandi Vito was appointed as a Deputy Secretary for the workforce development in the year 2003 by Governor Edward G. Rendell, and Ms. Vito Gladly accepted the position. She looked at it as a bigger challenge in life that she has to conquer. The first step that she did in playing her role as a deputy secretary is that she created a new group called Human Capital Committee (HCC) that included people that came from and is considered to be major cabinet level departments. After choosing the members for the group she spearheaded, she began a lengthy research process so that they can easily determine where the funds for workforce could be shifted to achieve results at its maximum level.
Pennsylvania became one of the first states that extended careers and trained individuals under specific industries. Sandi Vito’s work and devotion was known nationwide, more than 70,000 employees and more than 200 offices have been working under Sandi Vito’s command. All of her programs that aid thousands of people in Pennsylvania have been work development, compensation of the workers and their rights, and most of all the benefits that we’re given to laborers as they we’re also given equilibrium to show what they were capable of. She has put up much great effort to help those who are unemployed, with this sinking economy in the United States.
